Privacy Policy
OnShot is a food and GLP-1 shot tracker. It is not a medical device and it does not give medical advice. This page explains what the app collects, why, and what we do not do.
Who we are
OnShot is operated by Rob Prince / Redwood Digital. Questions: support@redwooddigital.ai.
What the app stores on your phone
Week 1 of OnShot is local-first. These stay on your device unless you later turn on an account or export:
- Profile basics you type in (age, sex, height, weight, calorie and protein targets)
- Medication name, dose, shot day, and injection sites you log
- Meals you log (items, calories, macros) and optional meal photos kept in the app
- Weight entries
- How many free photo logs you have used, and whether you subscribed
We cannot see this data from a server in week 1. Deleting the app, or using Delete data in Settings, removes it from that phone.
What leaves your phone
- Meal photos and meal descriptions. When you snap a plate or type a meal, that image or text is sent to OpenAI so the app can draft calories and macros. Do not photograph other people, documents, or anything you do not want processed. We ask OpenAI to process the request to return food items and nutrition estimates. We do not use your meals to advertise to you.
- Purchases. Subscriptions are processed by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat. They get the payment data those stores always get. We get an entitlement (you are subscribed or not), not your full card number.
- Crash and performance (if enabled later). If we add a crash reporter, this policy will be updated before it ships. Week 1 does not include analytics SDKs beyond the app stores themselves.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the app schedules shot reminders on your device. Those reminders are not sent from our servers in week 1.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not show third-party ad networks in the app.
- We do not use your health data to train public models.
- We do not provide your logs to your clinician unless you export them yourself.
Health information
Medication, dose, weight, and food logs are health-related. Treat the app as a notebook you chose to keep. Estimates from a photo are estimates. They are not a lab result and not a prescription.
Children
OnShot is not directed at children under 17. Do not use it if you are under 17.
Your choices
- Do not grant camera or photo access if you only want to log shots.
- Turn off notifications in system settings.
- Delete data in Settings, or delete the app.
- Cancel a subscription in your Apple or Google account. Uninstalling does not cancel it.
- Email us to ask what we hold. In week 1, if you have no account, we hold nothing on a server except emails you send us.
Apple and Google privacy labels
App Store / Play labels should match this page: data used for app functionality, not sold, not used for third-party advertising. Health and photos are used to provide the tracker. Payment info is handled by the stores.
Changes
If we add accounts, cloud sync, or analytics, we will update this page and the date above before that version ships.
